JULIA A. LEVIN, J.D., LL.M. is a professional genealogist and the owner of Levin Genealogy Consulting. After almost seven years of experience researching her family and friends’ ancestries, preparing family trees, locating long-lost relatives, and solving family mysteries, Julia has transitioned from genealogy as a hobby to a profession. Since April 2018, Julia has been providing genealogical services for clients, evaluating genealogical records, and drafting research reports. Julia also volunteers for FamilySearch.org, transcribing genealogical records.
Prior to pursing a career in genealogy, Julia worked as an attorney for over seven years and is licensed to practice law in Pennsylvania, New Jersey, and New York. She has practiced law in Pennsylvania in the areas of school law, civil rights, and employment law and in New York in the areas of estates, trusts and real estate law.
