Julia A. Levin, J.D., LL.M., is a New York City-based genealogist, who also provides services to clients in northern New Jersey and the southeastern region of Pennsylvania. Julia is here to help answer the following questions and more:

About Julia

Julia has approximately seven years of experience conducting genealogical research and received a genealogical research certificate from Boston University, Center for Professional Education. She has a proven track record of excellence in research, receiving in law school the CALI® Excellence for the Future Award in Advanced Legal Research, and over the course of her career as an attorney, has drafted, among other things, countless briefs, legal memoranda, opinion letters, trade articles, and contracts. As a former estates attorney and with a Master of Laws in taxation, Julia has a thorough understanding of the probate process, intestacy, and researching documents with legal implications. Julia is a problem-solver. Having majored in economics and mathematics at Barnard College of Columbia University, Julia brings her logic skills to solving each task at hand.

Genealogical Research
Locating and analyzing genealogical records, researching family histories, solving brick wall problems, drafting research reports, and preparing family trees.

Forensic Genealogy
Determining next of kin and unknown heirs for probate and intestacy, drafting research reports and legal affidavits of due diligence with exhibits, and preparing family tree charts.
